albertknappmd Posted July 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted July 22, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have been using the Sandisk extreme pro 64GB cards for years. I have noticed that when I turn the S Typ 006 on that the search time can be extensive. Apparently this is a well known glitch that Leica will be addressing in the 007 so I assume that it is a hardware issue and not a software problem..My solution for now is simply to leave AUTO POWER off so that I don't have this issue when shooting. My question regards the 128 GB cards: Does anyone use them and would the search time be more prolonged? Many thanks, Albert

hoppyman Posted July 23, 2015 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2015 I have the S2 and have set DNG+JPG parallel. I use just 2 of their 32GB CF cards and an SDHC 16GB in the second slot with the JPGs saved to that card. The camera reports approx 590 images capacity when all images deleted. It depends on how you use your camera of course. It is very rare for me to need to change to the second card shooting a project. Search time on start up is a couple of seconds only I guess.
