I use all RRS heads and mounts on my tripods and monos', and I very much like the baseplate anyhow....Not sure about the reality of actually using one though. I like the integrated Arca Swiss plate that it gives me, and it seems well made and fit for purpose. Certainly works very well with my ball head. I looked at the grip as well, but in the end decided to go for the Thumbs Up solution instead, as I wanted to keep the camera low profile. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
