beramos Posted May 21, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 21, 2007 Marc, thank you very much by your kind detail. It seems that you know my pleasures. You know that type pleases me east of photo that in addition is subjet pending for me, because although I am of the Ciudad-Real province (“La Mancha”) and I am seeing olive trees since he was small, I have still not made photos of them. Your photo serves to me as incentive to decide to me to do some. I like much the composition that you have done, leaving the escape of the sky in the left superior corner and aligning the olive trees in the superior zone of the photogram. It did not know that you have a Digilux 3. She is magnificent, no? And I imagine that you will be able to use your objectives of the R6. Gracias Marc. marc_dufour Posted May 21, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted May 21, 2007 Bernardo, In agreement with your comment about the sky. It's only a nearby landscape that I did thinking about your pictures, but not pretending emulate it ;-) You have to do these photos of olive trees ! I'm sure it would be a wonderful series from you. About the Digilux 3, I'm beginning to obtain what I pretend with it. At the moment, I only use the original lens. I got the adapter wich allows use the R lenses, and the tests I did gave fantastic results. But it's another way to make photos, and I have to learn a lot. I don't want the camera and lenses prevail on my own criteria. For the moment, I just introduced the wide format, after many years working with vertical one ! Me alegro de que te haya gustado la intención. Un abrazo. Marc
elansprint72 Posted May 21, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 21, 2007 Marc, This is a shot perhaps requiring better light to bring out the colours of the poppies and grass? Please do go back again when the sun shines! Bernardo has posted some excellent poppy shots, as I'm sure you have seen. I believe that there is much to come from the D3 as folks learn how to extract its best attributes. Bernardo, If you are from La Mancha, why no windmill shots? Regards, Sancho Panza. marc_dufour Posted May 21, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted May 21, 2007 Pete, As I wrote, I'm still learning. I suppose that, with time, I could take decent photos with D3, even if light isn't the best. Be pacient, man ! Thanks for looking. Marc
