Annibale G. Posted May 21, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's about a fortnight ago that I noticed something strange on my M7. Apart the lower dot blinking without using exposure compensation , a part of the LED is missing: for example if I use a iso of 400, the camera dispay 400 , but the upper line of the zero it is not displayed. Do I have to worry about that? What I have to do? Thanks Annibale
Advertisement Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Hi Annibale G., Take a look here Led, one is missing. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
k_g_wolf ✝ Posted May 21, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 21, 2007 In case your camera is still under warranty you can send it in and have it repaired at the CS. If not - and you can work with it, and the camera works alright otherwise - have it repaired once your camera has to be send in anyway for a check up. I try to have mine serviced every ten years or so, to avoid runnning on empty ... Best
Annibale G. Posted May 21, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted May 21, 2007 The camera works . I got only this problem and it is on warranty. What do you suggest? Annibale
k_g_wolf ✝ Posted May 22, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 22, 2007 You seem to have two problems with your M7: blinking dot AND missing elements of the LED-display. The incomplete display would be a thing I could live with, but the dot is a nuisance which I would like to see altered ... Give the Customer Service in Solms a chance to do something about it, as long as there is a warranty on the camera. Best
