microview Posted June 29, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) As the spring-loaded door in the camera base (if it's like the 113's) seems to be relatively fragile, would it be safer to use the USB port rather than removing SD card to transfer DNGs to your computer? Or do you think it's sufficiently robust? With my M I'm constantly taking out the SD card whereas battery charging is a less frequent necessity. Advertisement Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Hi microview, Take a look here downloadings pics. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
alee Posted June 29, 2015 Share #2 Posted June 29, 2015 Just use the SD card door as intended. In my years of camera ownership, I had exactly 1 camera where the door failed... a Coolpix 950 from 1999. The intent is to open/close that door as often as needed. I wouldn't worry about it. d0c0m0 Posted July 7, 2015 Share #3 Posted July 7, 2015 If you are using iPhone, you can try using the Leica Q App? After the setup, copy of the photos are automatically transferred to my iPhone 6+ though JPGs only (good enough for just a view). The images stays on the SD card. You can check out Thorsten Overgaard's Leica Q review; he showed us how to do the setup. I followed his instruction and established the connection the vary first time. Thorsten, thank you for the instruction.
