Leica X (Typ 113) - my experience with it

Does the lack of IS make a lot of difference? I'm looking to buy one but since I have never used a Leica before and being a DSLR user (Nikon with VR) I am not sure if the lack of IS will affect my experience.

Also are you able to provide a comparison on what advantages and disadvantages this camera has compared to Fuji X100 series? Please?

Thank you for the link. I enjoyed your pictures. It might  be worth adding a little about how you found the handling in practice.

The handling of the camera is fine. I use it as I use all my cameras: in Aperture priority and auto iso up to ISO 3200. AF works fine too, fast enough for my use of the camera.

Basically, the camera is a good ergonomic platform to shoot the lens:)

The RAW files are highly malleable, so the lack of IS can be compensated to a certain extent by upping the ISO a bit, no problem there. So, to me, the lack of IS is no big deal.

I have used a X100 before, and no doubt the integrated hybrid VF is big plus. But in the end, to my eyes, the lens on the Leica is better, and the ergonomics is better too. The Fuji was more "quirky" sometimes; but the advantage of the Fuji is that it provides a more "complete" and balanced package: integral VF, and good control, once you learn how to use it, and set it for your tastes.
