I ordered a Noctilux a little under three months ago and have heard that others are experiencing similar waiting times around the world. How much of a backlog is there on the more exotic lens lines? I always menat that the first 1.2 Nocti has been manufactured in Canda, and was discontinued due to the enormous costs and waste. The new Nocti has always been "Made in Germany", hasn't it? Few dealers or even distributors keep anything in stock anymore; the money that is tied up thereby is simply too expensive. I'm wondering if there are still more "special lenses" which are made in canada. Any ideas? All the other little optical wonders like Tri- Elmar, WATE, R- 90 APO, R- 100 APO Macro, R- SUMMICRON 180 are designed AND made in SOLMS ...
