tb_a Posted June 1, 2015 Share #1  Posted June 1, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello,  I've done quite intensive searches on internet but can't find any solution to my problem:  I want to use the lens heads of my Elmar 135mm/F4 and Elmarit 90mm/F2.8 on my existing bellows systems (from Minolta and Nikon).  No problem with the Elmar 135mm as this head has actually a M42 thread which can be fitted on behalf of M42 adapters on either of the 2 bellows.  The Elmarit can only be used in connection with the focusing adapter no. 16464 which is obviously only available with M-bayonet and not with M39/LTM and I was unable to find anything which could eventually connect a M-bayonet to any other type of lens mount like M42, Nikon-F or Minolta-SR.  Could somebody here please enlighten me if there is anything available to connect the lens head of the 90mm Elmarit to one of my existing bellows? Actually I would need at least an adapter ring for the rather strange thread of the lens head to at least M39 instead of Leica M. That would be the easiest solution. M39 could be easily adopted to any bellow. Additionally, is there at all anything available to adopt any M-lens to anything else like M39, M42 or any specific camera bayonet for macro purposes?  I can use my older M39 Leica lenses without any troubles on any camera for macro. Unfortunately I've found no way so far to do this with my Leica M lenses.  Thanks, Thomas

duckrider Posted June 1, 2015 Share #2  Posted June 1, 2015 LEICA adapter 16558 is used for Leitz-bellows to adapt lens heads of Elmar 135mm/F4 and Elmarit 90mm/F2.8, but it's not compatible to Minolta etc. http://www.iscanmanuals.com/ebay/opticxchange/01052012pic169.jpg  OTZFO or 16464 ist the focusing device for direct Visoflex use of 90 & 135 (and 65mm Elmar)  without bellows: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/images/thumb/5/5c/16464b.jpg/250px-16464b.jpg  You can put this OTZFO with an Adapter to Nikon F: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Adapter-fur-Leica-M-Objektiv-an-Nikon-D800-D600-D700-D7000-D5200-D5100-D3200-D90-/271129664320?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item3f20965b40  or better with correct distance for Visoflex lenses: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Leica-Visoflex-M-mount-Viso-lens-to-Nikon-F-adapter-Df-D4-D810-D750-D5300-D610-/291263096304?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item43d0a225f0  there must be similar for Minolta, but can't find it at the time...  Thomas
tb_a Posted June 1, 2015 Author Share #3  Posted June 1, 2015 Thank you very much.  I've ordered already the Leica M to Nikon F adapter and the OTZFO. As I have also a Nikon F to Minolta adapter already that should be O.K. for all circumstances in macro mode. The Nikon bellows PB-4 is anyway the better one compared to the Minolta Auto Bellows III as the Nikon has a focusing rail slider already built in and with the Nikon F to M42 adapter (which I already have) I can use this assembly on all of my cameras.
