Herr Barnack Posted October 1, 2016 Share #21 Posted October 1, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Looks very classy and well crafted; is this strap adjustable? If you are asking about the Harry Benz straps, no they are not adjustable. He will guide you in getting the right strap length. My strap is 142 cm. long. I wear my M-P 240 across my body diagonally with the strap on my left shoulder. The 142 cm. length puts the camera perfectly under my right hand when my right arm is down at my side. This keeps the camera out of harm's way (unless I keel over on my right side, that is) and it is at the ready to raise it to my eye and shoot. This setup works perfectly for me. honcho Posted January 7, 2017 Share #22 Posted January 7, 2017 142cm would be far to long for use with normal clothing and would annoy the hell out of me. I'm 6' tall and I certainly don't want my camera hanging as low down my side as my hands, I want it just above my hip where I can push it round to sit in the small of my back just behind my right elbow and out of the way when not being used. The other issues with a very long strap are when you raise the camera to your eye, there will be a large loop of strap that is annoying and when you pack your camera into a bag or backpack, an unneccesarily long strap also has to be accommodated. It's worth doing some experimenting with strap lengths before your order a non adjustable strap.
