dkCambridgeshire Posted April 22, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Noticed that my X Vario occasionally shows 'Card protected' when a fresh SD card is inserted - even though card is not protected. Erasing/verifying/repairing card in Mac Disk Utilities does not remedy the anomaly. Latest occurrence was with SanDisk 8Gb card which works fine in other Leica cameras. However, after removing and then replacing the XV battery, the 'Card protected' message disappears - and then the card can be used and/or formatted in camera. dunk Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
