While putting its through its paces it I engaged the flash and it popped up firmly into place. I re-engaged it and then the next time I tried using it the flash weakly popped up, with the flash head only barely clearing the camera body. I've tried it a few more times over the next couple days and every time it didn't shoot straight up like it should. Sometimes it would go halfway and others it would barely come up. Of course I can manually pull it up with my fingers but I feel like a camera in such perfect condition should work properley. You would think if the spring mechanism stopped working then it wouldn't pop at all instead of the varying degrees I'm getting. Anyone have experience with this?
