sjefjans Posted April 1, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 1, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) My trusted Epson 2100 has died. After 10 years. Now I am hesitating between Canon and Epson. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Is it necessary to have more then 3 black and grey colors to get a top print.

Jeff S Posted April 1, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 1, 2015 http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/digital-forum/363625-advice-printer-a3.html Lots more where this came from (via search). Another option for b/w printing is use of third party inks, e.g., Piezography (Jon Cone), which will allow you to convert an Epson to an all b/w ink set. But that's another discussion…also covered here. Jeff
Jeff S Posted April 16, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 16, 2015 Epson just announced the replacement for the 3880….the SureColor P800….another 17" option to consider (now with roll feed capability). Expected in June. Jeff
