The old Hektor (of 1935 vintage if I remember right) is acceptably sharp on axis, fairly soft outside, and stopping down does not improve matters much. The 1960 135 mm f:4 Elmar was a competent 135 mm lens, the 1965 Tele-Elmar is sensational, in practice nearly as good as the current Apo-Telyt.
