Advertisement Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Hi S. Wong, Take a look here Leica Microscope back?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jacksparrow Posted May 15, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 15, 2007 Looks like a camera back that would be attached to a microscope and take pictures. Don't know if it would have any collector value, but for sure that it doesn't have any practical use. Currently, microscopes in research use all digital imaging workflow, much more convenient, fast and cheaper, plus you can see in real time what the image. Take a look at the Leica Microsystems webpage, they have absolute wonders there! :-) and... if you think the camera stuff is expensive, these babies take you to a new dimension of pain. Guest Metroman Posted May 16, 2007 Share #3 Posted May 16, 2007 Eugenio you mean these ones? These are in the Burns research lab at the Plastic Surgery & Burns Unit where my wife works. First two are digital imaging scopes and the last is a Confocal suite - this suite is amazing. The clinical photographr also uses it with Photoshop and Lightroom loaded on it and they really fly! They are getting a couple of M8's for the clinical photography work as well - that will be fun.
