rbaron Posted March 10, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 10, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm having trouble getting prompt and/or conclusive answers from Metz "product support" so I'll try asking this here, since I know some of you do (or have done) use a Metz P76 external battery pack with a Leica SF-58 flash. I've got the flash, I've got the battery pack and I've got a Metz cord V58-50, which is supposedly the right cord to connect the SF-58 to the P76. But the cord doesn't plug all the way into the flash unit; it stops (very) roughly 1/8" short of being flush with the unit and when the switches are turned on I just get a flashing battery icon on the flash unit's display. Further, by an extremely rough and unsophisticated measurement (using a staple remover as a tool) I don't see how the plug could fit all the way into the slot provided for it on the flash unit; the plug seems too long and the slot not quite deep enough. Any help with this problem will be most appreciated. --Bob
