phovsho Posted May 14, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Howdy: Looking to sell an M6 TTL (Black) circa 1998 in good condition. Used but good condition. looking for an indication of what these currently sell for. Also have the 50/2.0 (black), again good condition but used which I would like indications of market price. I'm finally making th eplunge into digital, and will kepp a few M film cameras, but this is surplus to requirements. Probalby use the funds to go towards the new 50/1.4. Any observations appreciated. phovsho Posted May 14, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted May 14, 2007 Thanks Never seen the "completed auction" feature before. Looks like either side of USD 1,000 for the M6. M
carstenw Posted May 15, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 15, 2007 In Europe, the M6 goes for about €1000 and the M6 TTL for about €1500, in great condition from a reputable place. You can get them for less, but at the cost of condition or place
David Wogan Posted May 16, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 16, 2007 I bought a totally mint as new boxed black M6 Classic last month on eBay for £550. Items from the UK tend to cost a bit less than from mainland Europe.

I sold mine (.58) almost mint in box 2 weeks ago and nobody wanted to give me more than 1050 Euros. That's more the normal price for the M6TTL. :-( or :-) depends on what side you are :-) best regards Marc
carstenw Posted May 16, 2007 Share #7 Posted May 16, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Marc, sure, I said "buy", not "sell" Reputable dealers sell for those prices. You find them for less, but not much, unless you buy from some unknown.
Danny2p Posted May 17, 2007 Share #8 Posted May 17, 2007 Hello Murray, My eBay ID is peo82. Two weeks ago I sold my M6ttl .85, black with the box and manual for $1,100 Canadian. I originally got $1, 357CDN for it but the bid winner was from Taiwan. I had clearly mentionned in my description and payment instruction that I would sell and ship to Canada and USA. I sold it as a "second chance" to the next highest bidder. It turns out that Xi Xao is from China but I shipped to a polytech institute in Troy, New York. I received quick payment. It was a flawless transaction. I sold the M6 because it had been unused for several months. My M7, however, is getting used and abused. I just love it. Not into digital yet... Cheers!
