themilkman Posted January 30, 2015 Share #1 Â Posted January 30, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have recently experienced the CL's light meter jamming twice in the past week. At first I thought the cause was the cold weather, but now im certain its an even deeper problem. It jammed for a second time indoors, resulting in the light meter being stuck as iff the shutter has been released. The Shutter does in fact close and the light meter stays jammed. It then wont let me advance nor fire the shutter button. Â Until I give the light meter a slight touch, it releases and returns back to its normal state. and then allows me to aquire normal camera functions, of advancing the film and firing. Â Any help? anyone experience this? Â Â Thanks

Lenshacker Posted January 30, 2015 Share #2 Â Posted January 30, 2015 Sounds like it is time for a clean-lube-adjust. These cameras are 40 years old.
pico Posted January 31, 2015 Share #3 Â Posted January 31, 2015 Â Any help? anyone experience this? Â Yep, it is a common failure. Both of mine went that way. I finally gave them away to people who could not fix them. .
