sfethan Posted January 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) hi, I'm looking for a camera case for M9. the purpose is to put the camera in my backpack while working without bumping or scratching, and also allows me to carry the camera only with protection during weekends out with my kids. I was thinking about something like the case for D-lux I have couple of medium size camera bags like Domke, and want to look for real compact ones that can hold one M9 + summicron 50 only. any suggestions? Thanks

jhgnag Posted January 28, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 28, 2015 i'm not sure if this is what you are after, but I have one from when I had my X Pro1. OP/TECH USA Rangefinder Soft Pouch 7001224 B&H Photo Video I am an M-E newbie and slid it in last night just to see how it fits and it does with a 50mm Summicron. I also have a Hadley Pro (original) that's pretty...probably too big for what I need at this point.
sfethan Posted January 28, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted January 28, 2015 This one looks nice, thanks for the suggestion. I know it's not easy to find what I need but I'm looking for something has that size and a little bit more protection. The OP/TECH one is a bit too soft
bocaburger Posted January 29, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 29, 2015 One of the small/short top-loading zoom cases as from Lowepro should fit your requirements. Just need to check the internal dimensions to be sure. I had one laying around which fits my wife's Panny FZ200 (VLux4 clone) perfectly, but I've never tried an M in it. sfethan Posted January 29, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted January 29, 2015 That's an awesome solution. Lenses are usually more fragile so I assume the bag should provide better protection. Thanks! LocalHero1953 Posted February 9, 2015 Share #9 Posted February 9, 2015 If you're willing to pay for the Fog Flute, you could think about paying a bit more for the FastAndPrime Agent 66:p. Lovely bag, but........
FrozenInTime Posted February 9, 2015 Share #10 Posted February 9, 2015 If you want something very minimalistic than can also attach to the hip-belt ( a camera in the backpack is a missed shot) , check the Newswear pouches out: Newswear Small Press Pouch Lens Holder 286511 B&H Photo Video

Myvalko Posted February 13, 2015 Share #13 Posted February 13, 2015 I would like to add this model which I bought with my M9 years ago and I am very pleased with it: Dorr Southbull Camp S Comftortable and fits nicely M9+cron V5 + Color card or even M9 + summilux 50mm It has a zipped protection cover so that camera will not fall if the bag is left open. Hope it helps...
