Keith Novak Posted January 24, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've just switched to a Mac and have always Used ACDSee Pro on my windows machines so downloaded the Mac version to put on the new computer ... I also have the current version of Lightroom installed but there are a couple of things that ACDSee does that are useful so it's handy to have as an extra tool. However ... the instant you attempt to open a DNG from the 240 the program crashes even though the list of raw converters in the software includes Leica DNGs. I contacted ACDSee about this and they finally aknowledged that it's a problem after receiving a recent complaint from another user with a 240. They are working on it according to them but the fact that they weren't really aware of it surprised me considering how long the 240 has been on the market. I thought I'd just give a heads up here in case someone else attempts to use their Mac Pro3 software. The windows version is fine by the way! Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
