US00678 Posted January 17, 2015 Share #1 Â Posted January 17, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've just got a Summincron-40 and an Elmar-C 90 in very good conditions to enrich my T lenses equipment via the M-adapter-T. Â Both lenses seems brand new and have no signs or damages, but the coupling with the adapter is incredibly tight. Â They fit perfectly into the adapter, maybe too perfectly. Due to its limited dimensions is harder to "separate" the Cron, but also the C-90 requires, on my opinion, more "effort" than expected. Â Does anyone ever experienced (or heard about) a similar issue? Â I haven't any other original M-lens to check if they fit better, but the few pictures I've taken with the C-lens are absolutely fine. Â Thanks, Marco
Advertisement Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Hi US00678, Take a look here M adapter T very (too) tight with C-lenses. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
thighslapper Posted January 17, 2015 Share #2 Â Posted January 17, 2015 My 40 fits fine with no trouble. Â If there is a problem it is likely to be that adapter
goatsby Posted January 17, 2015 Share #3 Â Posted January 17, 2015 My 40 also works without issue, and is great on the T.
US00678 Posted January 19, 2015 Author Share #4 Â Posted January 19, 2015 Fixed! The issue was actually on the adapter, the ring where the M-lenses are connected is connected via 5 small bolts. 2 were slightly undone, just few tens of mm, but enough to obstacle the lens. I've just unscrewed and screwed again the 2 gaining the missing space.... Considering the adapter price, I would have expected s better quality check...
