A miller Posted January 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 16, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) M-A, 28mm summaron, SF-24D flash, Tri-X I'm still waiting for heavier snow and more wind!! This will have to do for now for the season so far. Would welcome thoughts and criticisms (other than that I should keep my day job, which I am already well aware of ) Best, Adam #1 Welcome, dear visitor! robert_parker Posted January 17, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 17, 2015 Adam There are some nice moments caught and the Tri-x adds to the effect of the light and weather - I'm not convinced that you should keep the day job....
A miller Posted January 17, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted January 17, 2015 Many thanks, Robert. And very funny, so much so that my wife is forgetting to laugh
Guest Benqui Posted January 18, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 18, 2015 I am really a fan of your style Adam! You really catch the right moment where people look directly to you or into your camera. This is what makes your photos so impressive, this is what distinguishes your photos from street snapshots. best regards Marc
A miller Posted January 18, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted January 18, 2015 Thanks very much, Marc. I really appreciate your comments. I just visited your 500px gallery of portraits and am blown away at your portraiture skills and mastery of, among other things, indoor controlled lighting. I could never get to that level and it is really quite impressive. Keep in touch, Adam

Iduna Posted January 19, 2015 Share #7 Posted January 19, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Adam, quite a nice series. I think no 4 will be my favourite because it is showing all the aspects of nasty weather: cold, windy, warming up drink, people poaking their umbrelles into the stormy breeze and a blurred backdrop. Good "streetjob"
A miller Posted January 20, 2015 Author Share #8 Posted January 20, 2015 Many thanks, Iduna. Hopefully, we'll get some really windy and nasty weather later this season and I'll catch some more entertaining moments
