Tembusu44 Posted January 5, 2015 Share #1 Â Posted January 5, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Has anyone experienced this when using the focus assist function for manual focusing - when I use this magnification function to focus and then click the shutter, the picture taken is at the magnification level. So the image is a zoomed in image. Previously I have used this function and this never happened when I took the picture after using this function. I have not upgraded to the newest firmware. soundsgoodsg Posted January 5, 2015 Share #2 Â Posted January 5, 2015 This is an occasional glitch that does happen, but if you are recording JPG+DNG, the DNG file is correct. This should solve itself with a simple power down / power up. I haven't had this problem in a while (I am on 1.3) because I prefer using the visoflex and running the camera in high-contrast B&W mode which makes focussing a lot easier (IMHO) but in this instance, the JPGs recorded are B&W; I process my images via the DNG files.
