120 Posted January 4, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was not able to find much information about this lens except a brief thread on r. d. forum and a few Flickr shots. Any user experiences with this lens to offer? I want it for for shooting full length, and 35mm on 35mm format is what I prefer. Is this lens a wallflower because it came into the lineup late? Thanks for any info...
Advertisement Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Hi 120, Take a look here Elmarit-S 45mm. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Arif Posted January 5, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 5, 2015 I use it fairly regularly and find it a to be a very good lens. I bought the CS version and now am thinking if selling the 35 since I also have the 30-90. I find the wuality to be slightly better than the 35. RVB Posted January 5, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 5, 2015 I have this lens..it's fantasic,it contains an extra element over most S lenses and I think this adds even more quality the lens..
peterv Posted January 6, 2015 Share #5 Posted January 6, 2015 Hi Rob, how would you describe the more/better quality of the 45mm? Is it color or sharpness, or the rendering? It's not the first time I hear that the 45 is something special within the S lens line-up and I was wondering what this is? Thanks!
