sfethan Posted January 3, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just saw this amazing videos that demonstrated the ultimate water proof spray called "ultra ever dry". Since my M9 is not water resistant at all, I was wondering if this could be applied to cameras and it it water proof? Does anyone heard about this ultra ever dry thing? 2wk Posted January 3, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 3, 2015 "Ultra Ever Dry is FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY - Not permitted for personal use" Since they sell gloves and a respirator to use to apply the stuff I don't think I would want to hold the camera with my hands or touch it against my face. Jeff S Posted January 3, 2015 Share #3 Posted January 3, 2015 The reason your camera isn't fully weatherproof is that there are openings that are not sealed. I certainly wouldn't want to spray strange stuff inside my camera. Jeff
pico Posted January 3, 2015 Share #4 Posted January 3, 2015 Nissan is crazy onto that stuff. A liquid that repels liquids. Fire to fight fire? Can you imagine the devious things we could do with that stuff? "Remember to treat your film with it as step #1 in your processing." .
