platypus Posted December 29, 2014 Share #22 Â Posted December 29, 2014 Hi Badger...I see you are new to LUF....so welcome! Love your name by the way. Â Here's a hint that I have often found to be useful. If you make an error (or predictive text makes one for you) which you notice only after you have posted your comment there is a little red button down on the right hand side of your post that says Edit.. If you hit this button your post will come back up giving you the option to correct it....then hit the SAVE button. Â *This Edit button option is only valid for a certain amount of time after a comment has been posted then it disappears and whatever has been written is set in cement. platypus Posted December 29, 2014 Share #23 Â Posted December 29, 2014 Next lens?? How about the incomparable 75 Summilux.
bjornthun Posted December 30, 2014 Share #24  Posted December 30, 2014 I have been thinking about a fast 75/90mm but I find that the Leica 75/2 AA or 90/2 AA may be out of my price range. How does the Leica 90/2 pre-Asph or Voigtländer 75/1.8 Heliar compare to the other offerings?

freitz Posted December 30, 2014 Share #27 Â Posted December 30, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was thinking about your post today. And for me I shoot 35 FLE 100% of the time, If I was to pick up a second lens from the Start it would have been a 75 Summilux of APO. After shooting for about 6 months my next lens for sure is going to be a 50 Summilux/ APO/ or Noctilux. I haven't decided since I don't plan on having a second lens for some time. wosim Posted December 31, 2014 Share #28  Posted December 31, 2014 I have got the last pre-Asph. Summicron f2/90mm and it is a fantastic lens. Wide open a bit soft, but excellent for portrait. Stopped down a bit tack sharp. I did a landscape shot on 70x50cm and you can read the number only around 1mm high on a firefighter plane, fantastic. You can find the lens quite cheap, but it is heavy. So I added for traveling the tiny and tack sharp Tele-Elmarit-M f2.8\90mm, which I love.  Here you can find reviews of lenses in the 75 to 90mm range, I collected in recent years: https://sites.google.com/site/wosimsphotography/links-testberichte-reviews/testberichte-objektive-leica-lens-reviews-75mm-90mm  Maybe those are helpful. bjornthun Posted January 9, 2015 Share #31 Â Posted January 9, 2015 The mailman arrived. The Summicron-M 90/2 pre-Asph turns out to be a great lens so far. The lens is coded and RF focusing at f/2 actually works fairly well, if I take a little extra time to do it. Â There is a good amount of resolution at f/2. There is CA, but it is not more than expected.
