sanyasi Posted December 9, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted December 9, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was pleasantly surprised when I heard from my camera dealer today. I dropped off my M on November 22. It came back from NJ today, with the sensor cleaned and the shutter button examined/repaired--it was sticking. That is less than three weeks. Â Can't argue with that turnaround time.
A miller Posted December 10, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted December 10, 2014 My MM repair has taken a multiple of what they estimated. I am still waiting.
thompsonkirk Posted January 10, 2015 Share #3 Â Posted January 10, 2015 Lens sent for coding and tightening of loose aperture ring, 12/6/14; estimate arrived (after dealer called to prompt them) on 1/7/14; estimated time for repair, another 6-8 weeks. Leica USA folks are nuts to think customers will keep buying $7K cameras with this sort of service. Â Kirk
