Guest guy_mancuso Posted May 10, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 10, 2007 Damn John beat me too it. Real simple 4 lenses 15, 28 , 50 and 90 macro lens. All small and light weight
grober Posted May 10, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 10, 2007 Leave the M8 at home and take your favorite point 'n shoot camera. The trip will be more rewarding if you lavish time on and "tinker" with your cruisemate instead of your Leica. -g
Guest guy_mancuso Posted May 10, 2007 Share #6 Posted May 10, 2007 Unless your married for a long time than bring 2 M8's. ROTFLMAO
carlos diaz Posted May 11, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted May 11, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Damn John beat me too it. Real simple 4 lenses 15, 28 , 50 and 90 macro lens. All small and light weight Guy, If my wife knew what I've spent lately on lenses she'd leave me behind BUT she doesn't so me, my M8 and my new CV15, new 24 asph, 35 and new 50 asph will be on that boat when it leaves. Seriously though, I am so very much looking forward to making photographs in these awe inspiring part of the world!
Guest guy_mancuso Posted May 11, 2007 Share #8 Posted May 11, 2007 Carlos that is a good kit to go with but seriously think about a 90mm . The 90 elmarit is a sweetie used around 900 or go for the 90 f4 macro , yes a little slow but really nice and small and excellent quality to boot. Might not need that 35mm the 28 is pretty close if you want to keep the weight down. BTW that is a trip i would love to take, my wife is not good on boats though.
