antonioviva Posted November 26, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted November 26, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Greetings everyone, Â Been a long time visitor but never posted or participated and decided that it has been too long and so I am jumping in with the hopes you can assist my next purchase. Â A little background, I travel quite a bit for work and have learned in the past five years that I am in the heart of my DNA a Leica photographer and so I am off loading some of my DSLR equipment to add an additional lens to my bag. Â I currently carry a classic M6 with a 35mm Summicron and I am looking to add some length to the bag with a tele. Seems like a 90mm makes sense and unsure about the pros and cons pre-ASPH versus new. Should I consider a 75mm? Â Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! jmr237 Posted November 27, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted November 27, 2014 I briefly used the 75mm Summarit and found it to be a good complement to the 35. Â Later sold to fund the purchase of a 50 lux. I decided that I only wanted to have one lens with me at a time. So I choose between a 35 and a 50, rather than going out with both a 35 and a 75.
