Zael Posted November 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 22, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I absolutely love the Monochrom. That said, I've noticed that sometimes when I import pictures into Lightroom, the wrong f-stop is reported. For example, last Saturday I did a studio shoot set at f/8. When I imported the images, all the images showed f/4 in LR. Now, I metered the lights for f/8, checked the f-stop while shooting multiple times, and all the images are properly exposed (i.e., since I had metered the lights for f/8, they were exposed at f/8). Is there a known bug with the exif info?
Advertisement Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Hi Zael, Take a look here wrong info in the exif. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
k-hawinkler Posted November 22, 2014 Share #2 Posted November 22, 2014 No, the camera estimates the f-stop number as there is no way to transfer the correct f-stop from the lens to the camera. There is only a mechanical connection, no electronic one.
