pico Posted November 17, 2014 Share #2 Posted November 17, 2014 The holder issues concern me very much. While it is no bother to most of us, the reviewer shows himself to be ancient with "4″ x 5″ medium format film".

Epson has revised this point. I have not had a problem with the V700 because I bought the betterscanning glass that improves the rendering of the image. 35 mm Anti Newton Ring Glass Insert for Epson Scanners I did not touch the factory setting Best Henry
DigitalHeMan Posted November 17, 2014 Share #4 Posted November 17, 2014 I have also started using the better scanning medium format ANR mounts with good results...
pico Posted November 17, 2014 Share #5 Posted November 17, 2014 Pico, this is a weak point of support with its height adjustment.Epson has revised this point. The review found the medium format holder to be too narrow so that the film buckles, will not lay flat. I would have no problem fixing that myself, but how could Epson let that out the door? .
