Disappointing experience wth a highly reputed Leica tech

... even reputable techs make mistakes, so there's no point singling out particular ones.

I gave you a reason…trends.

 

And I gave the readers a name…DAG…as I said above when he didn't impress and in the thread I started here, when he excelled.

 

And the further news I gave is that he does not care about the forum….I've talked with him enough to know.

 

I give the readers more credit than you to make their own informed judgments.

Your choice, to be respected, but, the worst Leica repair experience I have had (more than one) was from Leica in Solms. To be fair, I have also had excellent service from Solms (more than one).

 

This reflects 100% my own experience with Solms. (And, as a complete aside, since he is clearly not the subject of this thread, I have always received excellent service from MT).

I agree completely that your online persona is both more generous and gracious than mine, and people interested in the vagaries of techs' performances will find your thread much more useful than this. I encourage everyone with related questions and news and so on to get in touch with Jeff S.
