Canon FD lens on Leica T ??

Would a Canon FD 85/1.2 L lens fitted to a third party 6 bit coded FD to M adaptor, be compatible (after 6 bit painting, as per one of the selected codes http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-news/leica-lens-codes/ ) with the Leica T 'M' adaptor … and if so, should the user-paintable 6 bit code be painted as e.g. 75/1.4 or a 90/2 ??

I have seen a third party "user-'6 bit'- paintable" FD to M adaptor listed at $48 … has anyone tried it on either an M or a T camera?

I have an FD 85/1.2 L lens doing nothing - also have an FD 50/1.2L hibernating - thus considering a non-M240 solution.

I guess it was considered 'bad form' to offer 6 bit coding for the Noctilux f1.2 ;)

Best wishes

I was at the Leica Erlebnistage in Wetzlar last weekend and the Leica stuff confirmed - no image correction with M lenses on Leica T - but at the Novoflex booth I could see the new adapter produced by them for Leica R lenses on Leica T.

If you check the Novoflex website and go to adapter finder you will see, there are a lot other types also coming (inc. Canon FD) available in December :) Should be on sale in December
