jhc Posted October 21, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 21, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) How do I find camera details from production number? I am considering buying a secondhand X Vario and would like to confirm Type i.e. 107 and accusation numbers.
Advertisement Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Hi jhc, Take a look here X Vario details. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Archiver Posted October 21, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 21, 2014 The X Vario is a Typ 107, and the Typ 107 is the X Vario. That's all there is to it. The X Vario was the first of its kind by Leica and is the Typ 107. As for 'accusation numbers', could you be more specific about what you want? pop Posted October 21, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 21, 2014 Would that be "actuation numbers", by any chance?
waloszek Posted October 21, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 21, 2014 Up to now, nobody seems to know how to decipher actuation numbers from the EXIF data (there was already a thread about this topic in this forum). Best regards, Gerd
dkCambridgeshire Posted October 26, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 26, 2014 There is a possibility that a hidden menu might be accessible which could give numbers of actuations, number of flash actuations and date of manufacture. Such a menu(s) might be accessible by holding down combinations of buttons before switching the camera on. Olympus cameras' hidden menus are accessed in this way - but try at your own risk and with a fully charged battery. dunk

thighslapper Posted November 7, 2014 Share #9 Posted November 7, 2014 These procedures always involve a specific sequence of various key presses....... .... you just need to find the appropriate spotty teenager and just tell him to work it out ....... I have marginally more important things to do in life ........
