Possible/not possible? Gary

G-Monster Posted October 5, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 5, 2014 Why not? Leica T is an interchargable APS-C camera which can be used in all kinds of photography. Supporting B setting is the basic requirement for Landscape photography. I would love to have it which i can use LEE filters. Of course, if Leica has not such intention, we need to have a M or S... or Sony A7 series for that purpose.

Whilst I agree that a basic 'B' setting is vital for many types of photography, it's clear that Leica doesn't. For example, the M240 maximum exposure is only 60 seconds; the Monochrom maximum is 4 minutes. I'm not sure why. The sensors are used by other manufacturers and they have long exposure capability, but not Leica. It won't happen, because if was possible it would already be implemented. G-Monster Posted October 7, 2014 Share #8 Posted October 7, 2014 Agreed. That's why i still keep Sony A7R with me. Anyway, i do love Leica T.
Y2kman Posted October 8, 2014 Share #9 Posted October 8, 2014 Does B setting needs to work with shutter release cable? I don't see there is such a jack for putting the cable on the T.

There is no B setting and it is unlikely there ever will be. If there was, the standard shutter delay would operate effectively. My advice - forget it.
