Advertisement Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Car 61 at Goodwood. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted September 14, 2014 Share #2 Posted September 14, 2014 Andy, A nice shot with the car "frozen". I would like to see this one cropped a bit to include more of the car. Paul
a.j.z Posted September 14, 2014 Share #3 Posted September 14, 2014 Normally, I would agree with Paul but in this case I find the setting interesting and that the car is just below the word "Champion" somehow does the trick for me. I would love to go to Goodwood once. Is it difficult to get tickets?
andybarton Posted September 14, 2014 Author Share #4 Posted September 14, 2014 Thanks guys. It's not difficult to get tickets if someone else has bought them for you To get access to the paddock, which is where most of my photos on my blog were taken, you need to have quite a pricy ticket. But, if you don't go in there, you'd just end up with different set of photographs. Obviously! Tickets for next year will be on sale soon, I expect. These places like to sit on your money for as long as possible.
Toshack10 Posted September 14, 2014 Share #5 Posted September 14, 2014 I bought 65 tickets for this year via the ticket office. I took a group in on Friday. I bought the tickets on Oct 25th last year. Friday tickets sell out last but sell out they do. Stub hub were selling tickets last week. But yes, they like to manage the cashflow! Paddock is largely open, some only open to GRRC members (although dressing smartly will often cause a Marshall to turn a blind eye - did for me twice on Friday) and some areas are hospitality etc only. But when walking the paddock, watch out for cars trundling by too and from the track. A wonderful lack of overbearing health and safety...
