LCD upside down

After the TOP review I did look at some of his points, and considering the LCD, has anyone noticed that the usable viewing angle is pretty average from the left and right, and good from below, but very bad from above? could the lcd be mounted upside down?

I know this is kind of weird, but there is a big difference in brightness from above and below, and from below, it is very usable. From above, not so much.

I think the LCD is deliberately designed to be viewed at an angle equivalent to "below". When you look at the LCD it's natural to lower your arms and tilt the front of the camera towards the ground.

I guess you are right, when the camera is level facing down, your head is necessarily "below" from a relative angle. I guess the difficulty comes when you are outdoors and you deliberately tip the camera towards you to try to shade it from sun, then you are looking more from the top, which is when it is not good. Plus not good outdoors good.

ignore me, moving right along....
