Advertisement Posted May 5, 2007 Posted May 5, 2007 Hi egibaud, Take a look here M8 with Dolphins and Orca . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leicamann Posted May 6, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 6, 2007 Too bad ..no comment..you know its too bad that shots have to reach a stratospheric level of technical merit or you being a "big gun" to get any mention or comment..thats unfortunate. I think both shots have merit but you need to work out a few compositonal issues. The lady( in the background) in the first shot is "chopped in 1/2"..the second shot the light meter was reading the water..consequently the "orca" is slightly underexposed. Give the "action" of the situation..your best bet is to shoot and shoot again..action shots are the most difficult. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann
egibaud Posted May 6, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted May 6, 2007 I have many shots of that day, I'll try to post better ones. Actually you are right about composition, the problem is that I could not move myself from where I was. Anyway I was quite happy to be able to focus more or less and shot exactly when I wanted as I understood it was the main M8 problem. Eric
