mmk60 Posted July 30, 2007 Share #21 Posted July 30, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Point the camera down slightly and lock the metering if you want to avoid the underexposure. Or do the same and meter manually. stunsworth - Thanks for your reply. I actually used my spot meter and measured the exposure on side wall of the barn. Still underexposed and I am puzzled. The beauty with this digital tech is that I can see the result and make a change as needed:) farnz - thank you for directing me to the instruction cheers
Advertisement Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Hi mmk60, Take a look here Continually Impressed with the CV 15. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
geoffreyg Posted July 30, 2007 Share #22 Posted July 30, 2007 I've posted these before, so forgive if they are repetitive, but the 15 CV is pretty fun stuff. These were in Venice this spring. Not much photog encouraged there. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! grober Posted July 31, 2007 Share #24 Posted July 31, 2007 Did you code the CV 15 lens by hand on the cameraquest LTM to M mount adapter or the John Militch adapter? If it was the cameraquest please let me know how you did it. thanks, Jim Jim, I was fortunate enough to have an old Leica LTM adapter with a full-width metal collar all around. John was able to mill his indentations onto it for me. (Thank you, John!) Then I daubbed either black or white nail polish in the right places and mounted it on the M8 with the 15mm lens. Worked right the first time and every time since. (I have a 39mm B+W 486 filter permanently mounted inside the tiny, partial Heliar rim with 'O' rings from the plumbing section of my local hardware store.) If you follow the bidding for any of these older 90mm Leica LTM adapters, you'll notice them fetching princely prices of late. I wish I had another but don't. -g
