Wring not your hands and don't agonize in advance. Get the M240 and see if you like it and after 6 months or so if you haven't used your MP - decide then if you want to keep it as a bookend and fondler's delight, or move it to a home where it will be used.

 

FWIW I went thru this some time ago, but the dilemma was a fine DSLR and an M4 I owned and used for 43 years. I was using the DSLR probably 90% of the time, so that made the decision for me. In the end a year or so later, although I didn't regret my decision, I ended buying a M2 and 2 LTM bodies just to keep my fingers in RF film cameras. That's why I suggest you work with both, compare them closely before arriving at a decision.
