You only need one lux on your travel, saves weight too.
Advertisement Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Hi otto.f, Take a look here Summilux FLE 35 vs 50 ASPH 1.4. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

Just posting now to help others.
gabrielaszalos Posted April 30, 2020 Share #63  Posted April 30, 2020 @freitz reading this now, and looking at your Flickr profile, I see you have both. I wonder if you still visit this forum. What are your impressions today after all this time has passed? I have the Leica MP with the 50/1.4 and now I'm thinking to get the 35 too. My favourite focal length is definitely the 50 but I really like the 35 view when it's needed, especially for indoor shots with family and friends which I do a lot of. Then again, it's always nice to not have to think about which lens to take, and have only one lens...
astrostl Posted May 1, 2020 Share #64 Â Posted May 1, 2020 ZEISS ZM 35/1.4 Distagon + ZM 50/2 Planar together would cost less than either of them, and the former is commonly considered optically superior to the M 35/1.4 FLE.
exnihil0 Posted February 14, 2024 Share #65  Posted February 14, 2024 Just reading this thread. I knew from the first post that he was just wanting to confirm what he already knew he was going to get.
