Hi There - this is slightly different. Bart de Vries usually known as Knorp, who lives in Amsterdam, has had his house burgled, and, very sadly, the following items were stolen. He is a lovely guy and doesn't deserve to lose all this lovely kit.

It makes my heart bleed to read it - if you are offered any of these items, or see them, or anything. Please get in touch with me and I'll pass on the information. Or else the police

Yikes, my sympathy.

While it won't make up for the unsettling circumstances and unfortunate loss, in many ways beyond monetary, I hope Bart carried personal insurance. Stories like this should be a reminder for any who don't.

So sorry to hear this. It would be good if this site could maintain an online searchable database of stolen items and serial numbers. That way anyone who is buying a resale item can first check against this list.

That sounds like a really good idea. Andreas?

And reputable dealers who buy used equipment could check, too.
