jevidon Posted October 4, 2014 Share #21 Posted October 4, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I bought an early M9 with about 5500 shutter actuation's and a few slight cosmetic marks. It was originally bought in Milan and re-sold there with the purchaser bringing it to the U.S. and trading it for something else within a matter of weeks. I bought it trading in my reliable old M8. I checked the s/n with Leica Wetzler and was told that it was manufactured in June, 2010. So my M9 is early. I immediately updated the firmware to the latest version and have had no regrets except for a couple of stubborn spots on the sensor. I plan to have it CLA'd soon. It's a great camera and a keeper. If yours is similar, go for it.
