willemvelthoven Posted May 4, 2007 Share #2 Posted May 4, 2007 hmmm, this one went for a very low price. the plate with the 3 bayonets is worth a lot more. the bag only would be worth 70-100. pity i didn't see it before...
Bob Ross Posted May 5, 2007 Share #3 Posted May 5, 2007 I remember those. They always seemed too organized for my style. There were alot of DIY variations using rear lens caps mounted in the case, to keep lenses in their proper place.....very purpose built... doubice Posted May 5, 2007 Share #4 Posted May 5, 2007 This was a superbly designed case and very expensive in its day. I am still holding onto two of them. One is being used regularly and looks as if torn out of a hungry dog's mouth. The other one is waiting for the demise of the first one..... Cheers, Jan
marknorton Posted May 5, 2007 Share #5 Posted May 5, 2007 I like the organised style - two bodies, 2 Tri-Elmars, a 75/2 or 90/4, maybe a flash, the little Manfrotto tripod, batteries and cards, it would all fit in nicely. Perhaps Leica should team up with a supplier, maybe Schedoni who make the fitted leather bags for Ferraris. They could also talk to Hermes who might even be interested in taking a shareholding in Leica. LOL.
