pedaes Posted September 5, 2014 Share #21 Â Posted September 5, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Since you guys are not keen to use the leather case Leica ships with each lens, could you consider giving them to me? Â A serious answer from me. There is a chance that leather as a material could increase the risk of fungus in certain climatic conditions. I hang on to them with the box as come into play IF I should ever want to sell - or my estate does!
Peter H Posted September 5, 2014 Share #22 Â Posted September 5, 2014 Also, those nice leather cases are too bulky for sticking in a pocket, spoiling one of the big advantages of the (mostly) tiny lenses.

Peter H Posted September 6, 2014 Share #24 Â Posted September 6, 2014 I'd never thought of taking the clothes from my children and making them walk around in bare feet for the sake of my art, but now you suggest it , I quite like the idea.
LeicaPassion Posted September 14, 2014 Share #25 Â Posted September 14, 2014 I just received the micro lens pouch. They're great. Regarding size: medium fits the 50 APO and 21 SuperElmar and the large fits the 28 cron, 35 lux (a bit roomy), and 90 APO.
Herr Barnack Posted September 15, 2014 Share #26  Posted September 15, 2014 Zing lens pouches are brilliant things. Zing Designs Lens Pouches | B&H Photo Video Amen to that - they are the best soft pouches you can get IMO.  The ultimate hard lens case seems to be this little jewel: Beta Shell 5.90C Series 5C Compact Lens Case BS590C10A B&H Photo
semi-ambivalent Posted September 15, 2014 Share #27 Â Posted September 15, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just received the micro lens pouch. They're great. I'd like to get three of same size, stitch them together and drop them in a Domke F5Xb. All my lenses are small-ish; 21 SEM, current 28 Elmarit, current 35 'cron, 50 'cron V4, 90 Elmarit. LeicaPassion Posted September 15, 2014 Share #28 Â Posted September 15, 2014 Semi-Ambivalent, Medium should work. Leica-provided dimensions for the 35 cron are 53 x 34.5 compared to the 50 APO's 53 x 47. That said, I don't know if the dimensions include the lens hood for the 35 cron. Â I would give it a try and make sure I could return the lens cases. Perhaps someone with the 35 cron and the medium case could provide a definitive answer.
