IIf and case

I recently found an original case in lovely condition for my equally lovely, but very common,IIf. There was an interesting side effect as I had often wondered what caused the very feint but straight rub mark at the left side of top plate (it doesn't show in photo). When I fitted the case I could see it came from a leather strip that fits on top of the lining in the top flap. This suggests the camera has been kept in a case and contributed to the condition it is in. I now keep a folded lens tissue in the top of the case not to further increase the mark!
