Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted July 26, 2014 Share #42 Â Posted July 26, 2014 I finally took a look at the Fogg and some of the other bags discussed here. I am a bit surprised. Many of these bags are beautiful, but this forum has numerous posts about how to remove the Red Dot and otherwise lower the profile of an expensive camera, I don't quite understand the popularity of the expensive bags that scream "Expensive camera bag with expensive camera inside."I don't understand either. If you want a bag that shouts "No camera inside" just use a Tesco Walmart (for our american friends) bag and have some spring onions sticking out of the top of the bag.................perfect no camera inside.....................pathetic
Jeff S Posted July 26, 2014 Share #43  Posted July 26, 2014 …. I think the Fogg website really does justice to the bags….  But the site doesn't show any all-black bags, which are less 'showy' for those so inclined (me). At one point, Fogg had trouble with suppliers of black fabric, switching to more of a greyish look…don't know if they got that sorted…my older black versions are well worn with no sheen, but still robust.  My Hadley Pro is relatively new, bought only for added size to hold a laptop, significantly lower priced than Fogg equivalent, but still very well constructed and weather protected…and all-black.  Jeff
philipus Posted August 12, 2014 Share #44 Â Posted August 12, 2014 Has anyone tried the Filson Camera Field Bag?
Guest Benqui Posted August 12, 2014 Share #45  Posted August 12, 2014 Philipus,  I have tried the Filson messenger bag during a travel to Iran and I was totally thrilled. It is really the best bag I ever had. Perfect quality, durable and perfect for a Leica and (if you ever need it) theoretically 6 lenses.  Here you can see the photos http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-kundenforum/339762-beckers-lieblingsoutfitter.html#post2742309  I will keep it forever, for sure  best regards Marc  P.S.: no my name is not Marc Filson:D, but I am really a fan of this bag
