steve203 Posted July 11, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted July 11, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just unboxed my new black T, I have the snap case but reading of other users issues i don"t know whether to return it. Can't decide about the holster, too geeky? Anyone have one? Any thoughts/pics? Thanks.
Advertisement Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Hi steve203, Take a look here Leica T holster. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
barjohn Posted July 13, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted July 13, 2014 I had the holster and returned it. I got over the geek feeling and it is nicely made but be sure to use the keeper strap or the camera can fall out if you lean over. It does occasionally turn the camera on and trigger a shot even though the area where the shutter button and power switch is raised slightly. I am waiting for the aluminum version as I think it looks less geeky and more practical. The camera and lens is too heavy for a belt only holster, in my opinion, so you need the shoulder strap to carry the weight. The aluminum holster is supposed to have a latching mechanism of some type but I have not seen any pictures on how it keeps the camera from falling out. I think it looks more like it was made for the camera with the matching appearance.
steve203 Posted July 13, 2014 Author Share #3 Â Posted July 13, 2014 Thanks John, been so hard to find out anything at all about the holster. I bought the snap case which is a great idea, but poorly executed design, lens and strap off to charge the battery ! I think you are right, maybe the aluminium holster is the one to go for but I read it's not available until September.

colonel Posted July 14, 2014 Share #5  Posted July 14, 2014 Any other thoughts on snap case. I just bought one but after reading a few reviews it may be a problem  Unless you are happy taking the lens off each time you take the SD card out or charge it, then return it
