The previous version (1994-2010) is, I think, 11874. I've no idea which version is 11855. Â Edit: if it's the one at Wilkinson's I think it's been mislabelled and is the 11874. wattsy Posted July 1, 2014 Share #6 Â Posted July 1, 2014 Lenses manufactured after mid-2006 (including this lens) are all 6-bit coded but this particular example must have been manufactured before that date. IMO it's not a big deal, especially if it is going to be your only lens. You can also have the lens coded by Leica or a third-party (or DIY). Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Â I just did a quick search on the L-Camera's Wiki site and the lens code: 11855 is for the 50mm Summilux-M pre-ASPH version not a 35mm Summilux.
