graham_mitchell Posted July 28, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just returned from a couple of days of camping and travelling around Estonia. Unfortunately I had almost no time to take any serious photos (ever travelled with 4 impatient non-photographers?) but I still managed to take a few which I find pleasing. Fountain in Tartu: In a national park (I was standing in the middle of the river for this one); Spring and cave: Same park:

graham_mitchell Posted July 28, 2006 Author Share #2 Posted July 28, 2006 I went climbing on a network of tight-roped and very shaky suspended logs, etc. It was something like an extreme sport, but I took all my equipment anyway The view from up there:
graham_mitchell Posted July 28, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted July 28, 2006 Finally, our camp at a summer house on the shore of a lake:
mhanke Posted July 28, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 28, 2006 Graham, is it possible that the picture from the national park was in fact shot in Latvia? It somehow reminds of the Salaca valley national park, just south of the Estonian border: I like the first series of pics very much. mhanke Posted July 28, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 28, 2006 Sorry, I now remember: the spring and cave is in a national park north of Tartu, somewhere near Pöltsamaa, right? And I also see only now that you are an Estonian resident, so I assume you would know if you left your country ... Regards, Marcus
