algrove Posted May 27, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 27, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am traveling with my Apple Air and have over 400 images on an external drive and in LR as DNG. I must provide these files to someone with a PC who cannot read DNG since he does not have LR or PS. So I must convert to jpeg preferably as a batch. Any suggestions on how best to achieve this task? Thanks.

dpattinson Posted May 27, 2014 Share #2 Posted May 27, 2014 If that is a Macbook Air, then you select all of the images in the Library view of Lightroom. Choose Export from the 'File' menu, and the export popup will appear File Settings: Select jpeg as the file type. Select sRGB for the colour space unless you know you need a different one. 90% quality should be fine. Image Sizing: You can choose to resize - for general web preview use I use 30cm on the long side and 150dpi. Otherwise just leave this for full-size jpegs. You get to choose where the jpeg files will be saved later on, so just hit the blue export button and off you go
